Rwanda launches electric bikes after grabbing headlines with homemade mobile phones

Photo Credit: The New Times of Rwanda Rwanda continues its exceptional recent history of innovation and development with news that the country has launched a model of electric motorbikes and bicycles. The bikes are the business of Safi Limited, a local start-up company committed to raising sustainable and efficient solutions to problems of transportation in the East African country. Both motorbikes and bicycles will be available to be shared by the general public. Users would then have to download a mobile app which they will use to unlock the bicycles from charging docks across Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. For commuters without smartphones, smart-cards would be issued by the company to access the bikes. Customers would use means such as mobile money or bank transfers to pay for using the bikes while card users will rely on agents to load their cards. Students of the the University shows their pure love to Zimbabwean Schoolar sheik Mufti Ismail Menk during his visit to the University which in turn makes them to not control their happiness. Part of the  reasons why they couldn't hide their happiness was that they are part of the people who work tirelessly for his visit to Katsina State and the lecture was to hold at the University but do to the large crowds his visit may attract, that leads to change of venue to Yaradua University, but there was a rumor going round that the sheik will visit the University just to show appreciation to the students. The information at their disposal was that the sheik wouldn't be able to visit their school because of lack of space at their University Auditorium, the sheik in his wisdom decided to check on the students to appreciate them  before proceeding to Yaradua University.
